Anywhere from 1 million to 3 or maybe close to 5 million homes are needed to accommodate the next generation of home buyers and general population growth.
Homebuilders have an advantage, depending on market conditions, over homeowners looking to sell because they can offer incentives to offset higher interest rates and a multi-million homebuilder can more easily absorb smaller margins on their sales vs a homeowner; who may need every penny they can squeeze out of their home to purchase their next home.
2024 will be very interesting year in Real Estate with so many prominent factors, including a very charged election year, the housing market and the economy in general.
